These Radish Animal Sculptures Are Almost Too Cute To Eat These animal sculptures made of Daikon radishes -- a winter root vegetable native to Asia -- look almost too good to eat. For a new book called "Grated Daikon Art," Tokyo-based viral radish artist Masanori Kono compiled a series of radish sculpture ideas meant to spruce up Japanese hot-pot dishes called nabe.
