The good, bad and ugly for the Caps through 20 games

The Washington Capitals have played 20 games this season under new Coach Barry Trotz, so here is a look at the good and the bad with a quarter of the NHL season in the books. The Good Ignoring special teams and lead-protecting situations, the Capitals are putting 53.9 percent of all unblocked shot attempts in their favor. This is a huge improvement over past seasons were they struggled to break even.
