Tuesday Sector Leaders: Energy, Materials

In afternoon trading on Tuesday, Energy stocks are the best performing sector, up 1.3%. Within that group, Newfield Exploration (NYSE: NFX) and Diamond Offshore Drilling (NYSE: DO) are two large stocks leading the way, showing a gain of 6.2% and 5.1%, respectively.
