In trading on Wednesday, oil & gas exploration & production shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 5.3%.  Helping drag down the group were shares of Vaalco Energy (EGY), down about 20% and shares of Triangle Petroleum (TPLM) down about 17.1% on the day.
