Verizon Earnings Preview: Postpaid Subscriber Adds, Margins, Churn In Focus

For the fourth quarter, the company expects postpaid gross adds to grow both sequentially as well as year-over-year. Verizon's postpaid gross adds in Q3 2014 and Q4 2013 were 1.53 million and 1.65 million, respectively. However, growing competition and the ongoing price war in the U.S. wireless market will continue to put pressure on Verizon's EBITDA, according to CFO Fran Shammo.
