Over the past four years, the Ford Edge averaged just over 124,ooo units but in 2014 unit sales dropped to 108,000. The 16% decline in volume might be interpreted as a red flag because this was a year in which SUVs and crossovers grew by 8.3% and 13.3% respectively on a year-over-year basis.
