In afternoon trading on Friday, Utilities stocks are the worst performing sector, showing a 3.3% loss. Within that group, SCANA (NYSE: SCG) and FirstEnergy (NYSE: FE) are two of the day's laggards, showing a loss of 4.6% and 4.6%, respectively.
