A Chinese sneaker aficionado nicknamed "Mick" sold his collection of 283 pairs to make a down-payment on an apartment. The 30-year-old had been collecting kicks for 20 years, before he brought them to Beijing World of Pawn Co. Ltd. where he was paid just over $160k USD for them. Notable inclusions were a pair of retro Jordans, Doernbechers, and limited edition Foams. Don't feel too bad for Mick though, as he noted that now he's secured his apartment, his next plan of attack is to save up enough money to buy this collection back.
