Four flawed characters, each of them blazingly human, populate John Patrick Shanley's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, "Doubt, a Parable." A maelstrom of life-shattering events in a Brooklyn parochial school pulls the characters downward through 90 intermissionless minutes with the swiftness of a good whodunnit. But as the title suggests, the mystery never quite resolves itself in "Doubt."
