Arvind Kejriwal, a former tax examiner and anti-corruption activist, was sworn in as the new chief minister of Delhi on Saturday. The ceremony took place at the Ramlila Maidan, a location full of symbolism for Kejriwal. It was the same field where he led massive anti-corruption protests four years before, and the same site for his swearing in to the same chief minister post last year. Kejriwal resigned from the job a mere 49 days later, on Feb. 14, 2014 – exactly one year ago this weekend.
