Nats Journal: Trea Turner, Nationals' PTBN, reports to Padres' big league camp

Trea Turner, the Nationals' "player to be named" in the three-team Steven Souza Jr. trade in December, reported to the Padres' big league spring training in Peoria, Ariz., on Tuesday. Turner, a middle infield prospect, can't be officially acquired by the Nationals until June 13, a year after he was signed by the Padres, because of MLB rules. Turner was the Padres' 13th overall pick in last June's amateur draft.
