Demetri Martin: Comedy's Renaissance man

Demetri Martin is just your average polyglot -- highly conversant in doodling, a best-selling author, an actor on screens big and small. You know, no biggie. Next weekend, however, the deadpan entertainer, who developed a cultish following with the late Comedy Central series "Important Things With Demetri Martin" (it ended in 2010 after two seasons), returns to the medium that made him famous: standup. He has three shows lined up at U Street's Lincoln Theatre.
