Softcard to close its doors on March 31, Google Wallet will take its place

Softcard, the payments service backed by Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and T-Mobile, has announced on its website that it will be cease operations on March 31. Instead of running their own platform, the parties involved will instead utilize Google Wallet, something that proved highly unlikely in the past.
