Looking back to 11 days ago, Laredo Petroleum, Inc (NYSE: LPI) priced a 60,000,000 share secondary stock offering at $11.05 per share. Buyers in that offering made a considerable investment into the company, expecting that their investment would go up over the course of time. In trading on Friday, bargain hunters could buy shares of LPI and achieve a cost basis 6.8% cheaper than those buyers, with shares changing hands as low as $10.30 per share.
