If it weren’t for an act of kindness, Daniel Lubetzky would not be alive. When his father was imprisoned in a Nazi concentration camp during World War II his life was spared when a prison guard mustered up a trace of humanity by sneaking extra scraps of bread to starving prisoners. The philosophy of helping others was deeply engrained in Daniel throughout his childhood, and later incorporated in his approach to business.
