What you get when you cross Christopher Durang with Anton Chekhov meets your best expectations from the king of anxious comedy and the master of Russian despair -- gloom and guffaws. Durang starts with Chekhov but runs every which way in "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike." Greek tragedy? Walt Disney? Why not?
