BOSTON -- Orioles starter Ubaldo Jimenez was tossed Friday night for hitting Boston Red Sox slugger Pablo Sandoval in the right shoulder with a pitch, an ejection that Baltimore manager Buck Showalter later called "professionally embarrassing."
