Review: 'Poltergeist' feels like a half-hearted karaoke riff on the original

The original 'Poltergeist' was one of the many iconic films released in that amazing summer of 1982, and now Hollywood's remade it, with the capable Gil Kenan doing his best to pump life into an indifferent screenplay by David Lindsay-Abaire. Even the typically able cast can't rescue this one.
