Congress Just Took a Baby Step Towards Limiting Government Spying

After a tense battle over renewing key provisions of the Patriot Act, the US Senate just passed the USA Freedom Act , a bill meant to limit the government's surveillance apparatus. Now the the bill will go to President Obama's desk.
