This past Friday morning was blustery for Southern California. Cool temperatures. Clouds. Gusty winds. Not ideal conditions for bicycle riding. Yet there I was, having no trouble gliding along Coast Highway and some of its fairly steep hills at speeds up to 20 miles per hour -- without breaking a sweat.
