A Berlin startup is attracting millions streaming a Christies-eBay mashup. On Saturday, Auctionata set a new world record for the highest price paid for a work of Asian art in an online auction. The late 18th century Chinese automaton clock was acquired by Liu Yiquian for 3.37m Euros ($3.83 million). The investor owns one of the most important art collections in China -- housed in his own Long Museum in Shanghai, open to the public.
