Philanthropist David Rubenstein is appointed trustee of the National Gallery of Art

Businessman-philanthropist David M. Rubenstein will become a trustee of the National Gallery of Art beginning July 1, museum officials announced Wednesday. At the same time, the museum said Victoria Sant will become a trustee emerita after 15 years on the board.
