Joyce's Modern West Oakland Loft -- House Call

Pin it Name: Joyce and her fiancé Location: West Oakland, California My fiancé and I share a loft space in West Oakland. The space used to be an old tile factory before it was converted to six apartment units. The foyer, kitchen and living room are downstairs and our bedroom is upstairs. When my fiancé first moved in the apartment was an empty concrete box -- the challenge of decorating was to preserve the character of the space but also to make it feel warm and homey.
