Wednesday Sector Laggards: Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Stocks

In trading on Wednesday, metals & mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 3.4%.  Helping drag down the group were shares of Peabody Energy (BTU), off about 24.7% and shares of Alpha Natural Resources (ANR) down about 10.6% on the day.
