Clint Dempsey's head provided the goals the USMNT needed against Honduras

The U.S. women's national team was going to be a tough act to follow for their male counterparts, but the USMNT also had a rugged Honduras squad with which to contend in its CONCACAF Gold Cup opener Tuesday night. Fortunately, the U.S. men had a veteran goal-scorer already highly motivated to play well near his old stomping grounds.
