In trading on Wednesday, oil & gas exploration & production shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 3%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Magnum Hunter Resources (MHR), off about 11.8% and shares of Penn Virginia Corporation (PVA) down about 11% on the day.
