In trading on Wednesday, the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.4% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Oasis Petroleum (OAS), up about 9.4% and shares of Halcon Resources (HK), up about 8.9% on the day.
