Redskins owner Daniel Snyder took part in a groundbreaking Wednesday in Richmond's East End for a football-themed playground to be constructed on a vacant lot next to an elementary school. Part of the NFL's "Play 60" campaign designed to encourage children to get 60 minutes of activity each day, the $150,000 project is being underwritten by the Bon Secours Virginia Health System, a sponsor of the Redskins' training camp facility in Richmond, and the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation.
