NLRB Rejects Northwestern Football Players' Bid To Unionize; Makes Antitrust Lawsuits More Important

Nearly seventeen months ago, the 13th Department of the National Labor Relations Board ruled the scholarship athletes on the Northwestern University football team are employees and thus may vote to form a union.  Today, the full National Labor Relations Board reversed that ruling in a unanimous decision.
