For all the modern touches of "Stripe Tease," a busy, hour-long work for six dancers in black with a rock band and neon animal images on the walls, it is also rather old-fashioned. There are no evolving relationships, there's no subtext about climate change or longing. It is simply a dance, crafted from the elegant layering of patterns and shapes in space, like a pen-and-ink drawing sketched in real time.
