In trading on Thursday, the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.9% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Sanchez Energy (SN), up about 10.3% and shares of Stone Energy (SGY), up about 8.5% on the day.
