When Josh Jennings, CEO of Los Angeles-based WriteyBoard -- a dry-erase paint and adhesive whiteboards maker -- heard about an audition in Dallas happening in two days, he booked a flight even though he had nothing prepared. He and his crew pulled an all-nighter to fill out massive paperwork and whip up a presentation.
