Just days after Germany named the popular R&B singer Xavier Naidoo to represent it in Eurovision 2016, the nation has withdrawn Naidoo from the song contest.Naidoo's selection was met with heavy backlash over his 2012 song "Wo Sind" ("Where Are They Now"), which critics accused of linking homosexuality with pedophilia. In a 2008 song, he referred to the German-Jewish Rothschild family as the "Baron Deadschild" and used a Yiddish slur, "schmock."
