On the 60th anniversary of Rosa Parks's act of defiance on an Alabama bus, it's good to recall that something so underrated as grace -- seen in Parks's serene self-possession -- led to change. It brought about change even amid the violent social upheavals of the civil rights era. On that December day in 1955, Parks's grace fueled an act of creative destruction.
