Alice, Can I Put an End to Holiday Gift Giving with My Family? -- Ask Alice: Advice for Life at Home

Pin it Dear Alice, Is there a proper/possible way to ask for a moratorium on holiday gifts from and to my family? I love them, but they are generous throughout the year and I don't need them to get me anything just to get me something. And every year I struggle trying to find something to give to them because they are all either retired/well-off and always just buy whatever they want.
