The blue hair just wasn't punk enough. Director Molly Smith was in a tech rehearsal, watching cobalt-coiffed actor Kyle Coffman dance his way through "Consider Yourself" and other numbers in the Arena Stage production of "Oliver." Observing Coffman under the stage lights, Smith decided that her Artful Dodger still looked "a little too pretty boy" to be an expert pickpocket.
