A wildfire that started Friday night has burned about 1,200 acres in California. The fire — which started at about 11 p.m. PT Christmas night — forced officials to close parts of Highway 101 and the Pacific Coast Highway, about 65 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Drivers had started turning around and heading the opposite direction on the wrong side of the 101 after encountering the fire, Ventura County officials said during a press conference.
