In trading on Thursday, the Gold Miners ETF (GDX) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 3% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Centerra Gold (CG.CA), up about 10% and shares of Barrick Gold (ABX), up about 7.7% on the day.
