Pin it Q: We recently bought a beautiful Mid-century modern home with a 40' by 3.5' hallway. I bought four 8-foot runners rather than one long one to break up the length [photo below]. The design I picked adds movement to this very linear space. I am wondering if I made the right choice using four runners versus one long runner. I think one long runner will just accentuate the length. Is using four runners too much for this space? -Sent by Teresa
