Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes is selling the New Republic, the venerable magazine he bought nearly four years ago, following a turbulent and brief tenure as owner.In an email to staffers -- many of them new after a mass exodus over unpopular changes to the masthead last year -- that he also published on Medium, Hughes broke the "difficult news" on Monday.
