Boat racing may not necessarily be deemed the most exciting sport on the planet, but the Riverland Dinghy Derby in South Australia is certainly changing that notion. In the small town of Renmark comprised of just 8,000 people, small boats known as dinghies are souped up to 30-horsepower motors and set to traverse the winding Murray River. With speeds reaching up to 80 kph, the 90-km race can get pretty intense with sharp turns and unexpected debris impeding the course, as seen in the clip above....
