Although prepaid subscriber additions are less valuable for carriers compared to postpaid adds, these connections are becoming increasingly important in a saturating wireless market given their lower customer acquisition costs and opportunities for up-selling postpaid services. Here’s how the big-four U.S. wireless carrier’s fared in terms of branded prepaid additions through 2015. Note that the number excludes wholesale connections.
