Zaha Hadid Has Passed Away

World renowned architect Zaha Hadid has unexpectedly passed away. Known for her distinctively neo-futuristic structures, the Iraqi-born Brit was being treated for bronchitis at a Miami hospital before suffering a fatal heart attack this morning. Universally acclaimed throughout her lifetime, Hadid became the first female recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize back in 2004 and was honored with the Royal Institute of British Architects' coveted Stirling Prize in both 2010 and 2011.
