Showcase for new talent at Strathmore proved a worthy outing

Four exuberantly gifted young singers strutted their stuff Friday at Strathmore's Metropolitan Opera Rising Stars Concert Series. It is a win-win situation for the Met to sponsor these showcase tours for new talent. The artists hone their craft, earn some extra income and build audience interest for future casting in lead roles; the house keeps its name out there, synonymous with the best and brightest.
