In afternoon trading on Wednesday, Healthcare stocks are the best performing sector, up 2.4%. Within that group, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASD: VRTX) and Celgene Corp. (NASD: CELG) are two large stocks leading the way, showing a gain of 8.2% and 5.8%, respectively.
