The American Crossword Puzzle Tournament came and went, and by the end, we had a new champion! Congrats to friend-of-the-blog Howard Barkin for taking home the crown and unseating six-time-champ and also friend-of-the-blog Dan Feyer. As for me, my only goal was to finish all puzzles with no mistakes and place higher than I did last year ... and I did. I finished in 59th out of 576. Yes, I know that link says I'm in 60th, but I don't count robots like Dr. Fill. Of course, many of the top solvers ...
