Atheist Group Renews Fight To Eliminate $700 Million Tax Benefit For Ministers Of The Gospel

In a complaint filed last week in a Wisconsin federal court, leaders of a large atheist group renewed their quest to strike from the tax law a provision that has been in place since the Cold War, and that, not surprisingly, bestows a tax benefit specifically on religious leaders.
