After sitting out the previous two games with a left ankle injury, Stephen Curry started game four against the Rockets with hopes of reviving his team after their game three loss. However shortly before halftime, Curry sprained his right MCL after slipping awkwardly on a wet-spot at half-court while guarding Trevor Ariza, sidelining him for the remainder of the game.
