In trading on Wednesday, the SPDR S&P Metals and Mining ETF (XME) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.6% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Cliffs Natural Resources (CLF), up about 9% and shares of Consol Energy (CNX), up about 8.4% on the day.
