In trading on Thursday, the SPDR S&P Metals and Mining ETF (XME) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 4.1% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Cliffs Natural Resources (CLF), up about 30.3% and shares of Coeur Mining (CDE), up about 7.5% on the day.
